The specifications of
the Nokia Lumia 520 and Nokia Lumia 620 are remarkably similar, meaning that
Nokia's main competition at the bottom end of the market is itself.
Today Nokia Lumia 520 is world’s top selling
Nokia Mobile supporting windows phone 8 handset only because of its low price
and impressive specifications.
Nokia Lumia 520 has a generous 4-inch screen with
480 x 800 display, with dual core 1 GHz Snapdragon S4 processor and RAM 512 MB.
You might think that it doesn’t sound like Nokia Lumia 620 but its screen is
slightly bigger than Nokia Lumia 620 which have screen of 3.8 inches and Nokia
Lumia 520 have 4 inches of screen.
The Nokia Lumia 520 starts at around Rs.8800 to
Rs.9500 depending upon color variants, while the Lumia 620 retails from around Rs.12900
to Rs.13600. That means a decent saving for those who don't mind committing to
a network.

Facelift, also uses low energy at time of connection which use less battery
consumption at time when your phone is connected to any external device.
Like all recent Nokia handsets there's a lot
of color in the Nokia Lumia 520. It shares the look of Like other Nokia
handsets Nokia provides Lumia 520 in various colors. Also Nokia provides a
plastic shell which covers back and sides of mobile. The shell is available in
various colors like black, white, yellow, blue, red etc. If nothing above
matters, Nokia handsets stand out from crowd. Other than color, phone is quite
nice looking in many ways like angular rectangular design.
Nokia Lumia 520 is lighter and slimmer than
Lumia 620, with size 119.9mm x 64mm and just 124gm, which is longer and wider

The plastic casing seems almost warm, making
it nice to hold, and also it is not as slippery as it might look - so getting a
firm grip on the handset is no problem. The almost jagged corners can dig into
your hand a little when held in certain positions, but it's at worst slightly
uncomfortable and easily avoided by adjusting your grip.
Nokia Lumia 520 also has a very cool feature
that is we can use it wearing gloves too, like in winter we all wear gloves and
wearing gloves typing may be difficult in other mobiles but in Nokia Lumia 520
we can type very easily.
At the back there is nothing just a Nokia Logo
in center, camera lens with 5-megapixel written on it and a tiny loudspeaker.
At the right side of phone there are various
buttons, volume control at top, in middle power button and at the bottom camera
button. These all buttons have enough space between them to prevent confusion. The left edge is
devoid of any features, ports or buttons at all. The top is home only to a
3.5mm headphone port on the left hand side.
At the bottom edge there is a micro USB port
placed at the center, which is used for charging and connecting your Nokia
Lumia 520 to a computer or a laptop.
The cover or shell is very easy to remove by
just using your nail. Once you remove the cover then you can see the BL-5J
battery of 1430 mAh which is also bigget than that of Nokia Lumia 620 which has
just 1300 mAh battery.
After removing battery you will see two slots-
one for microSD car and other one for micro SIM.
